Gary Grabowski, P.Geo., Advisor
Mr. Grabowski was District Geologist for the Ministry of Northern Development and Mines’ Resident Geologist Program (RGP) in Kirkland Lake for more than 35 years. The Kirkland Lake RGP office area is responsible for the Area adjacent to the Quebec border from north of Lake Abitibi (Burntbush) to south of Temagami, including mining camps in Matheson, Kirkland Lake- Larder Lake, Matachewan, Cobalt, Gowganda and Shining Tree. During his tenure with the Ontario government, Mr. Grabowski was responsible for monitoring, facilitating and stimulating exploration, development and production of the district’s mineral resources and providing professional technical advice and information about the district’s geology and mineral potential to a wide range of client groups. He is currently a director of both the Northern Prospectors Association and the Ontario Prospectors Association. He is also a Fellow of the Geological Association of Canada, and received his BSc from Lakehead University, 1975.
Bill McGuinty, P.Geo., Advisor
Mr. McGuinty has 35+ years’ experience working in Canada and internationally holding progressive positions as project geologist, exploration manager and country manager. He was the former Vice President, Exploration in South and Central America for Intrepid Mines Ltd and he is the current Vice President Exploration, Eastmain Resources. Bill has served as Co-chair of the Advisory Panel to Canada’s Corporate Social Responsibility Counsellor and he is a member of the Ontario Mines Minister’s Mining Act Advisory Committee and the PDAC Corporate Social Responsibility Committee.
Dr. David Shaw, PhD., Advisor
Dr. Shaw has worked extensively in resource project analysis and has significant public company corporate board and committee experience. David’s working career, both as a geologist and an analyst, includes extensive involvement in both the corporate resource and investment banking sectors. He is a current director of Cerro de Pasco Resources; First Majestic Silver Corp.; Medallion Resources Ltd.; and a former director of Talison Lithium Limited, until its purchase by Tianqui Lithium of China; and First Mining Gold from its initial public listing.
Terence J. Bottrill, P.Eng., Advisor
Mr. Bottrill has 50 years’ experience as a geological consultant in mineral exploration and mine development on every continent except Antarctica. He has held corporate positions including Director of Exploration where he has been responsible for gold, silver and copper discoveries and mines. In the 1980's and 1990's he was very involved in several exploration projects in the Kirkland Lake district, including the discovery of the Amalgamated Kirkland, a deposit currently being drilled by Kirkland Lake Gold Mines. From 2006 through 2012 he was a lecturer in geology at the University of Toronto Mississauga and is currently the Industry Liaison for the Department of Earth Sciences, University of Toronto.
Linda Wrong, P.Geo., CSR-P, Advisor
Ms. Wrong has +25 years of experience as a Senior Social, Environmental, H&S, and Permitting Advisor in the development and implementation of effective, innovative and pragmatic, community-based and sustainable solutions. She is a Professional Geoscientist (PEGNL and APEGBC) and Certified Sustainability Practitioner (CSR-P). Ms. Wrong started her career as an exploration geologist and geochemist in the Kirkland Lake area, and since then has led successful global environmental and permitting initiatives for Barrick Gold, Hudbay Resources, and Lundin Mining. She recently joined Glencore International's global HSEC-Human Rights team leading environmental initiatives at over 150 global industrial assets.
